Dr Alexander Khan practices from his own rooms at Coral House,
which are available for client conferences on request.
Coral House is ideally located on the south-facing side of central Manchester where it meets the new unitary campus of Manchester University and its formidable facilities. Quite literally over the road is the ever-growing BBC building and its soon to be increased stream of production departments. One of the main reasons for the almost universal popularity of our location is that we are also blessed with a multitude of modern travel links. You could take a leisurely 5 minute stroll down from the St Peters Square Metro-Link station. Alternatively, cross the road from Oxford Road Train Station and be with us in 2 minutes. Even if you do not want to take advantage of Europe’s busiest bus route down Wilmslow Road, there are a multitude of car parks quite literary on our doorstep. Once you arrive, you will find that the choice of shops, bars and restaurants within very easy reach is almost limitless, whatever your tastes.
Public Access
Dr Alex Khan is licensed to conduct work for lay clients, i.e. the general public, in all areas of chancery matters and commercial law. Almost all the traditional services that barristers provide are available to the lay client. Should litigation and interaction with other parties be required, Public Access clients will be given advice as to whether or when it would be necessary to involve solicitors to act on their behalf.
Lay clients are reminded that Dr Khan strictly adheres to the statutory identification procedures required by the Money Laundering Regulations 2003 and the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. All such procedures apply equally to intermediaries for lay clients, from whom enquiries are also welcomed. Contact with Alex Khan must initially be made through Coral House.

Professional Services
Dr Khan accepts instructions from various professional clients throughout the jurisdiction and, where possible, beyond. Advice, consultation and advocacy remain the core services offered to solicitors for both litigation and non-contentious work.
Licensed Access work from other authorised professionals, in order to instruct Dr Khan for non-litigation purposes, is also encouraged. Guidance will be provided should the involvement of solicitors be required.
